HACK 1: RESURFACING
I've used this brick wallpaper on one wall in the bathroom to give an industrial and cohesive feel throughout. I also covered the blue splash back tiles which marble contact paper. This made such a difference and meant the tiles didn't have to be replaced!
HACK 2: BE INVENTIVE
Beside the bathroom sink there used to be an old toothbrush holder, however it was never used and simply collected dust. Instead we stuck a small bamboo chopping board from IKEA onto it and turned it into a useful shelf for much more chic looking decanted bottle of mouthwash.
Until 'The House of Dreams' is a reality I've been using useful hacks to lift existing spaces. Since I'm obsessed with 'IKEA Hacks', 'Homeware Hauls' and 'Before and Afters' on You Tube, I've taken inspiration and updated small areas (mainly our bathroom), which I think have really made a difference.
